‘Just a little fish in the big sea’

'Just a little fish in the big sea'

I certainly am just a tiny little fish in the big sea..and so is my camera. Like everyone else, i too dream of traveling around the world with my tiny camera and capture a whole lot more than i possibly can.
I believe, it’s better to travel, than to arrive. You learn and experience a hell lot more that way.
Somehow, I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world. (Thank you mommy daddy :)) Though, once they stop being so nice to me (HAHA), I’d love to continue my journey, and experience (and feel) every place (country, state, city) that exists.
It’s a weird , but kind of an awesome feeling to know that i am just a teeenyyy tinnyy person in this whole wide world.. in this whole wide universe. It just shows that you need to make your place in this big sea. And it’s important to realize how hard it is to do so. So a 100% is never freakin’ enough. You have to do it until you drop.
And like i’ve mentioned a few times before, I suck at framing sentences. Only because, i have thoughts and emotions flowing in every second. So ignore that part.

Cheers, people ! 😀

“Innocence is Bliss”

I shot this near the station, while i was in the rickshaw, waiting for the signal to turn green. (It’s India, It’s Mumbai.. and hence , the 10 min wait. HAHA)

She came up to me and just smiled.
It was weird, it was surprising.. Because generally, they come and beg for money.
Now, i don’t usually support this (Begging) (Several reasons) , so i simply refuse. And i was quite happy to notice the fact that, all she really wanted was just a smile, in return.
So i not only looked at her and smiled back, but also gave her some ‘Fanta’ that i was drinking. She seemed thirsty. (Okay , well.. i did not have water to give.)
I was curious to talk to her and know her name. At first, she was clueless. But then after a pause of about 10 seconds, she politely said “Kamla”. Firstly, the fact that she knew her name, gave me immense happiness. ‘Cause, a lot of children out there on the streets, aren’t aware of their names..

They say that we learn something from our everyday life experiences. It’s true. The sources can differ, though.
Today, i learnt something really important from a 5 year old (her age -I’m guessing).
It’s the value of little things in life , that count. Could be just a smile, or two words, or a hug, or a child’s innocence.
Respect it. Love it.. as much as you possibly can.

Have a great night!

Darkness always subsides.

Darkness always subsides.

I am on one of the top levels, of being happy right now. Very. So this post has to be genuine.
PS : This post has nothing to do with darkness.

I write, though i know it isn’t anything great. I write, because it makes me happy.
[Ignore my distracted mind. Haha]

So well,
Darkness subsides. Maybe with time, but it always does. Happiness is pretty much like that. It takes time for some, but definitely happens.

Talking about the positive part.. There are certain things in life that makes one happy. It may be a balloon, or a diamond ring, or a game of basketball, or a hug, or maybe just some beer (Which is mostly the case, frankly :P)

But happiness is happiness.. whatever the source may be.
So, you must do whatever the hell gives you immense happiness, or simple satisfaction. But keeping in mind, as to what is right and what is wrong.

You don’t let someone give you an opportunity to smile/laugh.
Instead, you make one.

Cheers !
Happy Weekend.

” A creative ch…

” A creative child is the adult who survived. “

This is something i strongly believe in. Being creative is important. A creative mind always does better than any other (No i am not being mean) one. 🙂

Though I would like to believe, that all of us are creative. The difference lies in the fact that, it’s too visible in some of us, and hardly, in the rest of us. Wait. There is a third case. It’s that some of us, refuse to portray the creative side (mind), thinking of it as something not that ‘important’.

Another thing is that, a lot of people relate ‘creativity’ to ‘design’, ‘art’, etc. Well, Creativity is EVERYTHING, but THAT.

You know you’re creative if you have the power to make yourself happy… every micro second. You know you’re creative if you have the will to stand up for what you love and respect.

Apart from all the philosophy, i’d like to share something from my side personally.

Every time i find a missing crayon, or a t shirt that i’ve been looking for, or every time i take a picture of something i love, or if i get a glance of that someone special (Mine), it just gives me immense happiness. THESE little things add to my happiness. I am 18 now, But I am sure, even after i turn 81 (when i reverse the digits -> 18), i will still find happiness in these tiny little things.

So anyway,

Have a happy monday night (HAHA)

Cheers to all 🙂
